Obama does not have to believe it; after all, he is a reform Democrat from Chicago. (And if you believe that, I have some Cubs World Series tickets I can sell you at a price.)

What's important is that Oprah's audience believes what Obama is saying. On the other hand, he is one of the few candidates this time around who is young enough to have another chance in 4 or 8 years.
