I never get my hopes up based on what I read on any web site.
POlitical web sites are frequented by those who are most interested in politics. We are in the minority, but a great per cent.
FR is more conservative than some other Republican web sites. It tends to go further right both in opinions and in candidate support.
That being said, the Iowa caucuses are notoriously unpredictable.
The Weekly Standard exists solely for the promotion of McCain. Let is disappear.
The dems do thrive on sleaze, BUT, can even they swallow it if a guy cheats on his terminally ill wife who is out there every day for him.
The same guy who never fails to bring up the tragedies he’s suffered.
Maybe???
I’m supporting Thompson, and donated to his campaign because I don’t think Hunter is going anywhere and all the rest are worse. However, I think he would be far more moderate than I would like. He doesn’t have a history as a fire-breathing conservative.
“Obamas staccato way of talking is fast getting on my nerves.”
I..........................................know what..............................you mean!
LOL. You obviously do :)
Tims sole aim this morning is to help The Huckster become the Republican nominee.
Yes, that was my guess. They would LOVE Huckabee ... he would be their dream candidate.
If you have a big imagination, imagine the contrast between today’s Huck-r-view and one after he actually got the nomination.
The more i hear huckabee. the More smarmy the guy sounds. He is always making excuses and sure talks down to everyone. I really am liking Fred these days and wonder why he’s not being picked up because he really does encompass everything everyone wants. Immigration, social issue and fiscially responsible.
What was that syndrome Patty Hearst suffered from?
Stockholm, liederhosen by proxy, or sumpin’?
Good Sunday morning. Nice post.

I think Milbank was speaking from defensiveness: “Why is our (the Washington Elite) Hillary not the best-liked girl in the state? Waa-waa?
Clinton and Kerry always wanted to “be” president.
Bush (and Romney, I believe) want to do the work of president.
A huge distinction.
A cartoonist could use the shallow and deep ends of a swimming pool to illustrate where the men operate.
He makes my skin crawl. First he said the mother is a victim of abortion. What did he say after that that was totally opposite? I can't remember. He flip/flopped though.
You appear to believe the drive by media operates in a vacuum as they have in the past. this is not so. Their influence is greatly diminished by the readily available web and cable news services.
I totally agree.
Juan, as usual, doesn’t let any facts get in the way of his opinions.
Better than anyone, I think Mitt realizes the challenges and has proven he'll figure out a way to solve them. Agreed?
Clinton
Obama
Edwards
I love that idea: the journos are victims of Stockholm syndrome vis a vis the Clintons.
