Aren't Cindy Sheehan's 15 minutes up already? However, if I were there, I would also turn my back on the Chinese float. That's about it, quiet protest is my style. :)

Depends upon which network you watch who is across the street from the cameras, but it’s significant that Caltech students are planning on being involved, as they have a very set position along the parade route. Most networks, however, broadcast off of Orange Grove before floats make the turn onto Colorado Blvd, good luck to the protesters getting anything into the stands - it ain’t going to happen.
I had free tickets for 5 seats in the prime stands this year, but turned them down, mostly because I didn’t want to board buses at 5am to disembark into airport style security screenings, arriving in stands two hours before the parade starts. The parade’s fun, but I think the wife and I will go check out the floats in the wee hours of the morning and sleep in New Year’s day.

I don’t think a heavy dose of mace will hurt the flowers on the floats and can be dispensed before and after equestrian units come by. So, dose away! Then claim they were delousing the scum that Sheehan and her ilk are.

“We are going to ask the audience on the road to turn their back when the Asian float arrives, and show banners. We have to send a strong message to say no to human rights abuses in China,” Li said. “
I got news for you Li, China owns us, or at lest 60%+ of our debt. Do you think the leaders of your old country even care about some sybolic gestures from a bankrupt Nation??
A better gesture would be for you to return home and stir up the $hit in your own backyard.....

This is supposed to be a nice family event. Where did these people get the idea that they are entitled to disrupt and contaminate the parade with their oh-so “important” opinions? This disgusts me.
To: Utah Girl
Pasadena better start borrowing paddy wagons ahead of the parade, from other PDs in the area. ;o)

I was very young, we went on a bus to Pasadena. We stayed in a building right on the parade route, however, it was an all night party. I think I slept through the whole parade, I sure don't remember anything...I have no desire to watch it live.

LOL. No worries here, I won’t post her picture.

Sorry about that. I just looked for Cindy Sheehan. Admin, can you close this thread? Thanks. :)
To: GOP_Raider
LOL. I'm just not the kind to be noisy. Um, except at certain football games. Beck to Harline, and Hall to Collie.

Vacaville is about an hour east of San Francisco on I-80 toward Sacramento. For Comcast that’s close enough.

Sheehan wouldn’t need a Rachel Corrie float, just a big flag, carried flat.
