There are a few branches of us Lutherans that still hold true to scripture like the LCMS (missouri synod), the wisconsin synod and a few others. But the majority are liberal and looney sorry to say (as a lutheran myself)

Interesting. This is the first time I've ever heard mention--other than my own--of WELS/ELS on FR; that is, our synod and sister synod. Your assessment is entirely correct.

Im LCMS myself. Actually there are quite a few from the LCMS and WELS that post here, u see them at times on the religion threads. Good to know you are a fellow conservative lutheran (with a german name like that I should have guessed!)
