That’s certainly not true in the tech/engineering world. Yeah, but those are real degrees.
Education, communications, general studies, etc. are just certificates of attendance.
But the student loans the dumb suckers are saddled with are real.

Come to New York City if you have an Education degree. The public schools are begging for teachers. The New York Post recently had an article on the teacher shortage in the City.

The rats want to stick the taxpayers with those student loans. The rats have declared that interest rates should fall to 3% on subsidized student loans by 2012. In addition, government employees will only have to pay for 10 years.
