ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--According to the New Hampshire State Republican Party and an Associated Press report, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul will be excluded from an upcoming forum of Republican candidates to be broadcast by Fox News on January 6, 2008.
Given Ron Pauls support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded, said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been invited.
Snyder continued, Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded Dr. Paul from this event.

Are they also excluding Alan Keyes? I didn’t even know he was a candidate until he was on that Des Moines Register debacle when Schoolmarm gave him more time than anyone else, just to make Republicans look like nuts.

Ron Paul has excluded himself by stating his intentions to run as a third-party candidate. He has no business being in a Republican debate any longer.

They are starting to drop all the candidates who are polling nationally in the single digits. You won’t see Keyes or Cox in there either.

This is the 3rd or 4th such article I have seen recently with similar titles:
"Has Fox News excluded/blackballed/ignored/deep-sixed Candidate X?"
The answer invariably turns out to be "No, you're just angry because Candidate X isn't getting great press 24x7".

Another single digit candidate.
http://www.cox2008.com/cox/ Nationally, Cox, Keyes, Hunter, and Paul are all within the margin of error of each other.

Maybe Mr. Paul was in "another realm" at the time he was to be invited.
or maybe he still had his antennae set for analog and not digital and he missed the invitation.
Maybe he went to visit Mr.s Paul to get some more fish sticks.

Ron Paul has excluded himself by stating his intentions to run as a third-party candidate He said no such thing. He said he was 99.9% sure that he won't run 3rd party and has no intentions. He doesn't deal in absolutes and he made the "wiggle" comment to Russert just to get him to STFU about the subject.
That said, this is going to backfire big-time on Fox News. If Paul places higher than 3rd in Iowa, the network will have a serious dilemma on its hands because NH is pretty much a lock for Dr. Paul.

How is he going to score votes higher than Huckabee, McCain, Romney and Guiliani in Iowa?

I’d hate to see Hunter excluded.
But if Paul has intentions of running outside the Republican party, he shouldn’t be included.
