What part of his response bothers you? It sounds quite reasonable to me to defend an old man who is being assaulted. Defending the old man would have been very much “Pro” his life ,, I have no problems with meeting force with force... You aren’t one of those that thinks it’s wrong to execute murderers are you?

I think maybe we should start a FREEP-A-THON of the Harrisburg Police Department, and get several Pro-Life groups involved in this.

Maybe it is time to call out the Cavalry -- the Truth Trucks and RCC Trucks.

Maybe Harrisburg, being a State Capitol, needed to be reminded of the LEGACY of Bob Casey, Sr.

One battle cry can be:

Maybe the March for Life can arrange for a hundred thousand people to appear in Harrisburg -- especially in the neighborhood of the clinic...

This was from my post and as I explained earlier, I meant this as sarcasm. I had placed the following text inside angled braces which stripped the text from my posting.

(Jena flavored sarcasm). I intended to make reference to the Jena mom that claimed the kid that got beat up must not have been assaulted too bad because he was released from the hospital that same evening.

Of course I support Mr. Snell and I pray for his recovery. I apologize for the confusion and the justified rise in blood pressure in sime freepees.

With all due respect, being “pro-life” does not mean “pro-passivity”. To be for the lives of our most vulnerable and innocent is a just cause, and to be ‘pro-tective’ of one of our other less-able is also a just cause.

I hope and pray that there is some Freeper out there who lives in the area to take this man’s place outside the killing center until he is well enough to come back. I will remember him and his family in my prayers.

they way I read it is that it was the action of another person that caused Ed to fall.  He wasn't some kid going our for a joyride or trying to get on the mtv jackass show; the car was not running and in park.  Had the guy not jumped on the car, Ed would have been fine.

 

When Mr. Snell tried to counsel the woman, his words were cut short when the man became furious, jumped the fence and, in the words of Mr. McTernan, “leaped on the vehicle with Ed and catapulted him off of the vehicle and onto the ground.” Mr. Snell hit his back and head on the pavement and was knocked unconscious.
