A mother convicted of criminal negligence after her 11-month-old son drowned in a mop bucket has been ordered to attend classes on how to rear children as part of her probation. The baby, Justin Hoffman, drowned in a 5-gallon bucket after his mother left him and his 23-month-old brother alone to watch a soap opera.
