Ford Motor Company offers sex change benefits

 

Dear Fred,

The December 18 edition of The Advocate, a magazine for homosexuals, featured the transgender issue. A transgender is a person appearing or attempting to be a member of the opposite sex, as a transsexual or habitual cross-dresser. The Advocate article showed numerous pictures of people who had sex operations to change from male to female, and vice-versus (I'll spare you the details).

Ford Motor Company placed a full page ad for its Volvo brand in the publication.

Ford offers medical benefits to help pay expenses of those who choose to undergo sex change operations. Ford pays for mental health counseling, hormone therapy, medical visits, and short-term disability after surgical procedures for employees who desire to change their sex.

In just a few short weeks Ford will shut down its relatively new plant in Batavia, Ohio. The reason, so far as I’m concerned, is that Ford refuses to lower its prices. This is a bit of arrogance on the part of both the company and their union. Better to have no job at $100 per hour package than a job at $50 per hour package.

Ford’s major issue is the price of their vehicles. Their second most important issue, and it is similar, is telling their customer base to take a hike. They do this with their insistence on social engineering policies that alienate their customers.

They are perfectly free to give health benefits to anyone they want for any reason. And I’m perfectly free to buy whatever automobile I want. You’d think, though, that their stockholders would want some say in how they spent their money, how they priced their vehicles, and how they treated their customers.

I guess they must’ve already had their lopitoffame.

IT dawned on me.

AFA is doing here is truly wrong and everyone is buying into it.

Social issues aside, If they want to do something positive for Ford, they would educate and promote Health Savings Accounts for the Hourly members since it is already available to the Salary. Now the latest Union contract may address HSA's but I do not have time to research it.

The point is, they are not looking for a win-win and make individuals responsible for their health care via tax incentivized vehicles, and at that point if someone wants to spend their money on "this" stuff, it is none of AFA's concern.

But no, It is easier to bash a corporation who really could use a life line here, but they rather bring more donations into their coffers.
