Why do so many freepers dislike Joseph Farah and WND?

Chuck Norris contributed some articles to WND. Chuck Norris, WND and Evangelicals, many feel, were responsible for the Huckasurge. The Huckster is now cleaning Fred’s clock and that doesn’t sit well on FR.
I think the consensus was that “Fred doesn’t dance to anyone’s tune” and at least indirectly alienated Values Voters and Evangelicals. Farah made a few remarks about dinosaurs but there can be no doubt he is on our side. I don’t know why he said those things, but weighed against his contributions to the conservative cause, it doesn’t really matter to me. Mine is not to further Darwinism but Conservatism.
It brings to mind the tactics of leftist Democrats to delineate conservatives as flat-earth rednecks because they dare place faith in something outside of Darwinism. I don’t know if he said what he said, to stir the pot, to goad or if he actually believes it.
