You could take what I know about football, put it all in a thimbel, and it would still rattle around like a b-b in a boxcar. So enlighten me “touched the ball”....where why, how, and what does it mean?!?!?!
Explain please why you are mad? Did not tune into game until after the problem.
I can't believe they haven't been class-actioned over this.
I still do not think that the coach touched it. Either way, it was a most unusual play. Why not name the coach because by morning he would have been outed by the national media anyhow.
Sorry, I was so rattled....Someone not a player touched the football on the field of play during the game and they keep showing his face and mentioned his name....Musberger and Hirbstreet are having an orgasm on the air...Clearly shadenfreud(spell)
...put it like this...the OFFICIALS, who know all about everything there is to know about football, all had the “WTF” look about them. It’s the screwiest play/ruling/ruling/new/ruling/ I’ve ever seen.
When the ball is in play, no one not on the field of play (legally) is allowed to touch the ball. Doing so is considered an illegal toching, and comes with an unsportsmanlike penalty.
Also on that play, it looked like half the texass coaches were on the field. That should have been a flag as well.
The fact that he touched the ball has had an effect on the game. It is as appropriate to name him as it would be to name anyone else who errors. He stepped on the field and became part of the game.
Coach Brown should leave his relatives at home.
I don’t think he touched it either. His hand snapped back like a bolt of lightning was flashing outta that ball.
Please don’t ever go into the news reporting business because I still don’t know what you’re talking about
Well if they know the person’s name in order to name him then that means the person is publicly a part of the team, meaning he’s in the program book, probably with a picture, and also probably on the team website, so anybody with half a brain in their could figure out his name. I mean heck, Musberger figured it out.
the sideline reporter asked someone what the kids name was and they told her his first name and she reported it.
i don't have a major problem with it. my problem is that they will show this kid throughout the game. over and over. and if texas loses this game (god forbid), this kid will never be able to go home. every student knows this kid and where he lives.
steve bartman, call the ticket office.
Your problem with that is what again?
I hate it when they mention who touched my balls...now what are U talking about?
