If this report is true, and I’m still fairly skeptical, it should make the race of Paul’s congressional seat far more interesting.

Paul hasn’t said if he’s running for re-election to his House seat, but most people think he intends to do so. The filing deadline is sometime within the next couple of weeks.

Would Paul run as a Republican for his House seat while seeking the Presidency in a different party? I don’t think that would fly in his Texas district. Already he has several announced opponents in the GOP primary.

We could be witnessing a spectacular crash and burn ending the political career of one of the strangest politicians in American history.

Already he has several announced opponents in the GOP primary.

I know of Chris Peden, but wasn't aware there were others. This is going to make Peden's very-long-shot bid even tougher if there are others vying for the nomination.
