I’ll study that site when I have some time. Are you a Romney supporter?

Balderdash!
There are plenty of good conservative Mormons I could support for President. Slippery Mitt is not one of them.

Blasphemy using the name M.R. with Reagan.
I worked at Reagan’s headquarter’s here in San Diego when he first ran for gov. Saw and heard him many, many times then and while gov. and Pres. in person.
This was a great man.
Mitt does not come close nor in any way like Reagan.
Mitt will be another looser like his liberal anti war dad.

Not a supporter per se, but our primary election isn’t for another five months so I’m procrastinating.
But alas, the FEC’s website is pretty fascinating. I may link to it in a seperate thread here before too long.

The very IDEA that anyone would do something as ridiculous as wearing sacred underwear, as dictated by some church, is beyond comprehension. What about socks, though?
I have these special, magic socks...

"Every one of these Romney threads runs 10 times longer with 10 times more posts that any Fred thread. Sometimes 100 times more! No wonder Fred cant get any traction. No ones talking about him."How profoundly true. His supporters are so busy trashing Mitt Romney, that they left their candidate in the dark!

-—Interesting that the Concord Monitor is pushing Huckabee and the Union Leader is pushing McCain....strange politics up there in New Hampshire.-—
They are practicing the politics of division; they are playing the Republicans for chumps!

Thank you for your many kind words about Mormons! I may disagree with Mormon theology -- I do think they're wrong on some things (as I do about Catholics and Protestants), but I do not think that such things bear on the issues facing the President of the U.S. today.
But beyond that my personal acquaintances with Mormons in both private and public sector tells me that they tend to be good folk. Being Mormon should be no block to public office.
(I still don't like Mitt, but that's based on other issues.)

They don't mind slandering Reagan...he's just a stepping stone. His reputation is malleable to whatever extent Slick Willard needs more stairs on his ascent to power.
After all, it was Willard who lied about Reagan's pro-life credentials.

Why, if a church were able to compel a man to do THAT, then what else might they be able to compel him to do? humble, you seem to be compelled into different sorts of action by a certain group of geriatric tarts.
