BLACKS IN AMERICA have suffered an endless series of insults and degradations, the latest of which goes by the name of Kwanzaa.
Ron Karenga (aka Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga) invented the seven-day feast (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) in 1966, branding it a black alternative to Christmas. The idea was to celebrate the end of what he considered the Christmas-season exploitation of African Americans.

Same here. I was waiting for the obligatory pictures of this phony celebration in our local paper(s) and they never appeared. Good riddance.
Me too. Actually, I just looked at my calendar, and this is the first day of Kwanzaa.
Go Figure.

That pretty much sums it up.
Let’s not mix things up. There are a lot of devout, black Christians to whom Christmas is meaningful.
My understanding is that this is a “holy day” for non-Christian black people who feel that they need something to set them apart.
I don’t know if the majority or all of the people who subscribe to Kwanzaa are racist, but the guy who “founded” it was a racist, a misogynist, a sadist, and a felon to boot. Nice role model.
I did not mean black as in African, I meant black as in sinister.
And, from the hometown of James Earl Ray. Black elected officials in Memphis, Tenn. are being allowed to hold Kwanzaa celebrations in the Shelby County chambers tonight by a court order.
