I think you should know by now that Free Repulic management and the vast majority of its members endorse Fred Thompson as the Republican candidate and thus Fred Thompson followers can say what ever they want about other candidates and their followers on FR and no one is going to stop them. It is a sad and unfortunate fact but it is what it is. The question I asked few weeks ago is what will Free Republic do if Fred Thompson is not the nominee?

Actually, the sad fact is, almost every time that I've posted FACTS about Myth's record (both sides of it), I've had a mittbot respond by personally attacking me rather than use FACTS to rebut what I've said.

I saw some answers to your question some time ago. It is difficult for us up-beat Fred supporters to believe that he will not be the nominee when real conservative voters get to inspect all the records of the candidates. Why is it we hear negative comments about the “records” of all the candidates except Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter? It is because their records are of REAL CONSERVATIVES. All the negative comments made about Fred have only to do with “came in the race too late, no fire in the belly, looks tired, looks too old, and on and on. So with some, looks and appearance mean more than conservative record? I happen to LIKE the looks and appearance of Fred and LOVE his REAL CONSERVATIVISM! GO FRED! (I will vote against any Democrat,but don’t want to hold my nose while doing it!)
