My heartfelt thanks for your continued prayers and good wishes. Under doctor's orders, I was fortunate to attend CPAC last week. The surgeon and radiation oncologist both strongly encouraged me to get out of town prior to beginning radiation.
I am currently receiving internal radiation treatments through Feb. 25. I feel very well, and my surgical scars have healed completely. I'm back to hauling around the 40lb kitty litter buckets and potting soil.
Again, many thanks for your kindness through prayers and warm thoughts. Words cannot express my appreciation. May God continue to bless you.

Excellent news, NautiNurse! I hope you remember me sitting near you after the Gathering of Eagles last year. May I suggest yoga classes as the situation allows to aid your recovery? Whatever is the case, I salute you!

Wait! Wait! Housework can be...uh...yeah, very dangerous to someone in your condition. Yeah, that's the ticket. Best just sit back with a large lemonade and watch somebody else...
Well, it's worth a try. LOL! God bless you and welcome back!

I just sent you an email. I guess if you are doing radiation, there goes my possible wish of coming to see you while I’m in Florida next week!
Hang in there. . You will do fine. Better than fine.

Hey, FRiend... I didn't realize you had updated this thread!
It was wonderful to see you at CPAC last week and give you a HUG in person (tipping a few glasses of champagne wasn't so bad either...LOL). You look fabulous, btw!
As you know, you will continue to be in our prayers... :o)

Dude, if you’re gonna admit to picking up forty-pound buckets, you are gonna get like NO sympathy here. :)

Thanks for sharing such fabulous news. The fact you can haul a 40 lb. bag of potting soil tells me your back is in great shape. My bags still sit in the trunk of my car and there they will remain until the back, shoulder, and neck heals after putting them there.
