NautiNurse is undergoing surgery this morning to remove a cancer that was found during some recent tests. The surgeon has said that there is a 75% chance that they will get it all in this procedure. He is optimistic that she may be able to go home tomorrow.
Please keep NautiNurse in your prayers for a successful surgery and a rapid recovery.
Thank you for the pictures!
Keeping you in my prayers !!!!
Thanks for sharing such fabulous news. The fact you can haul a 40 lb. bag of potting soil tells me your back is in great shape. My bags still sit in the trunk of my car and there they will remain until the back, shoulder, and neck heals after putting them there.
Tom Sarris Orleans House - RIP, January 15, 2008
Wow, thanks for posting that sad note, Buford. That note left no doubt that Orleans House is indeed closing forever. Sad, I was looking forward to many more DC Chapter gatherings there... :-(
Dear Lord,
As we’re having a storm bearing down on us today, the first thing I wondered was, “where’s NautiNurse hurricane thread...I hope she’s alright?!”.
Now I know she’s busy with something more pressing to say the least.
With great love and trust in our Creator, the storm will spare us and with the same Faith, I know God will work through the hands of the surgeon and will bring our good friend NautiNurse back to good health.
God Bless,
cll
