NautiNurse is undergoing surgery this morning to remove a cancer that was found during some recent tests. The surgeon has said that there is a 75% chance that they will get it all in this procedure. He is optimistic that she may be able to go home tomorrow.
Please keep NautiNurse in your prayers for a successful surgery and a rapid recovery.

Excellent news, NautiNurse! I hope you remember me sitting near you after the Gathering of Eagles last year. May I suggest yoga classes as the situation allows to aid your recovery? Whatever is the case, I salute you!
Of course!—GOE was a remarkable experience I will always treasure. The post-GOE gathering at Orleans House was fabulous. btw—I heard recently that Orleans House has closed due to urban development. We’ve had several FReeper gatherings there over the years. Sad to learn it is no more.

The housework respite has its benefits and drawbacks. Just between us, I’m very pleased to be back doing the heavy lifting again. I’m a tad bit particular about how I want my house cleaned.
It's true. And the People's Republics of Virginia and Maryland have passed no-smoking ordinances in restaurants, so that fries the ice of many a DC FReeper, as well.
