He’s wrong. Most do not object to the name of Jesus, but to the name of Jesus being used for political purposes.

Should a candidate for office risk offending the majority of voters (Christians) by pointedly ignoring the birth of Jesus Christ just because some POS is arrogant enough to think that he/she should do so? If thwe candidate does that, you can bet you bippy that here is one Christian who WILL NOT vote for him for tht very reason -- I don't like cowards.

Probably most who might be offended wouldn’t vote Republican anyway; hack ‘em off any way you can.

No, he’s not wrong. Jesus IS the rock of offense. People all over the world are offended by JESUS because there’s a continual spiritual warfare over Christ. It has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the fact that Jesus died and rose again and the devil hates Him.
