You don't go over the top celebrating, and by December 26th, you're ready to pack away your decorations.Until Christmas Day it is Advent, not Christmas. And because the tree-sellers here shut down their way over-priced operations before the 24th, we often go without a tree. Okay, lights go up at the beginning of Advent but that's (mainly) because winters are so dark here. And they (and the tree) remain up until the 12 Days of Christmas end, also known as Epiphany (following Twelfthnight).
