Good! The less Sacramento "accomplishes" the better off we are.
Arnold sure fooled me. His first two years were reasonable especially when he tried to take on the public employee unions about pensions. Since he lost this battle, he has been a changed man. He may even be worse than Gray Davis. He is popular now but the budget situation and resulting recession will sink his popularity. Perhaps there will be a time for a true conservative. Throw every rat and rino out.
Gotta love obstinate Cali Republicans. I’m more satisfied with Mike Villines than anybody else I have voted for.
I guess I missed that raid on set aside funding. You can bet your sweet bippy that money was never repaid either..
Yep. Almost as if someone 'got' to him.
I don't see how CA can pull itself out of this fire. Fourteen billion means about $600 for every man, woman and child in extra taxes. Four a family of four that's quite a chunk. And, that's only to balance the budget.
All that "he/she can't win" conservative flinching nonsense creates a overwhelming "self-fufilling prophecy" every time it's tried!!! The liberal Dems know this and spawn it amongst us... EVERYTIME!!!
..and he’s not a republican..he a democrat
.....he’s become the “worminator”
The dems have moved so far left our party in being invaded by socialist rinos..like the king worminator....
What a wonderfully succinct expression of the Democrat party platform: Solving Our Problems With Your Money.
Debt ridden, yes, but hardly destitute.
There are plenty of bucks still to be squeezed from residents.

Cut the budget in every department in state government by 5 percent. Do it again.
“I’m celebrating my one month anniversary, of leaving California. I’m now a legal Texas immigrant.”
We’re also California refugees and are celebrating our 24 month anniversary here in the Dallas area. Welcome!
A government, of the government, by the government, and for the government. But they are doing it to us....for the children of course.
I’m not a California voter, but my money was on Bill Simon. He came within a few percent of winning, and would have done so if Bush and Rove and that jerk Parsky whom they put in to run the California party had supported him.
Maybe McClintock would have won, too. Hard to say. At the time I was not keen on Arnold, because of his rotten stance on abortion and perversion, but he’s a lot worse on the fiscal side than I expected, I must admit.
As it is, I think most of the blame goes to the party pros, who tried to impose Riordan on California and then succeeded in imposing Arnold—which has been lose-lose ever since, for the pros as well as the people.
awnolda
sure
turned
out
to
be
a
dud!
California deserves everything that’s happening to it. I’m glad that Ahnold’s “post-partisanship” BS is dying an ugly death. People elect representatives not only to get things done, but also to act in a manner consistent with their beliefs. Stand firm, Republicans.
yeah, but john and ken of radio kfi lost angeles
invited simon on the air for some FREE radio time.
and guess what?
simon sounded lifeless.
john kept saying, “we’re giving you free radio time.
we want you to win. come on! act like you’re with it!”
he just melted.
I'm up in Denton, just a block off 35E.
I live in a cheap apartment, in a low rent area. I was surprised to see that the kids left their good bikes outside, unlocked. The bikes are still there, and put to good use, by their rightful owners, a month later.
One thing I especially noticed - the word Texas is used alot, and with respect. Folks take pride in Texas ... simple unabashed no excuses pride. I'm thinking that taking pride in where you live is good for building a strong community.
I'm thinking that the word "America" has gotten polluted, robbed of some of that pride, and too much overloaded with nuanced meanings, political correctness and shades of doubt.
Gray Davis was one of the worst governors in US history - and Arnold used him as a role model.
the ufo and mormon threads
sure get a lotta hits.
you oughta start posting those!
