Getting land by adverse possession has been around forever. It seems odd, but there are valid reasons why land can be given to another party, for example, if the land is off the tax rolls. There are usually pretty strict requirements that have to be met. Were they met in this case?
Boulder District Judge Morris Sandstead, who served with McLean, issued the restraining order quite swiftly.
Serendipity, I guess.

Yes, there was a brick are rock wall that everyone assumed was the property line for all these years. It wasn't but had been there long enough to meet the legal requirements to establish a new line. Some people just want to be in the pitch fork crowd.
“Getting land by adverse possession has been around forever.”
I don’t care how long its been around. Its wrong, and these people are still lowlifes for stealing their neighbors land.
Are you at all familiar with this case? What do you make of the physical evidence that doesn’t support the case of those who took the property (via a case tried by a former colleague who did not recuse himself)?
