And, you might ask, who is next on Flynt's list to expose? He does name three to Handy, but not for publication. What we do know:

* a Republican presidential candidate * a well-known Republican senator * another "prominent conservative official" (this is described in the article as involving "hooker parties and no-tell-motel liaisons"

I take it that you have not had much experience with cancer or it’s victims up to this point in your life. They do not need yet another despicable disease in the form of Larry Flynt to make them “seem alive”.I’ve lost my father and the woman I was going to marry (she was all of 32) to that damned disease and they were both more ALIVE than that wheezing piece of shit until the day they died.

It’s only a matter of time until it will impact you in one way or another. Believe it.

Just to set the record straight:

The number of people falsely accused of being Communists by Joe McCarthy:

Zero.

Those things are: fighting the Islamist monsters who seek to destroy our country and take it over, keeping taxes down, understanding and respecting the Consitution, appointing Conservative Justices if given the chance and preventing our wonderful nation from becoming a socialist state.

Unfortunately, nobody who is running is even that "perfect."

Maybe he’ll rehash the story of Rudy living with the gay guys

Hell, Homer Simpson did it and all's right with the world!

Watch your filthy mouth.

You're still a newbie here. Mind your manners. You're way over the line with what you posted.

I have a softball sized tumor on my pancreas but I'm not attempting to occupy the White House. It would be relevant if I was trying to occupy the White House.

Biopsy showed a benign and calcified tumor so I don't have cancer but they want to take it out to be sure, but that's not really important in the grand scheme of things. The President is important on a large scale.

If it's the words "more alive" that rubbed some the wrong way, would you have preferred "more vigorous" instead?

That reminds me. Does anybody know if Larry’s having turkey for Christmas? And if so, is it dead or alive?

I don't know anything about the poster who made the comment, but I think I understand what he(she) was trying to say with his comment; and I wouldn't outright call him an ass.

My dad had cancer. Between the time of his diagnosis and treatment and his death, he didn't go chasing strange women (or men) around in bars, but he do things to celebrate his being alive. He traveled with my mom; and they did things that they had always wanted to do while they were raising their half-dozen kids, but until then had not taken the time to do.

After dad's death, from his cancer, my mother was also diagnosed with cancer which ultimately killed her. After her diagnosis and treatment, she, too, traveled and did "crazy" things for a 70 year old woman... With her older sister (who also was to ultimately die soon after her cancer diagnosis), she took an Alaska cruise and a helicopter tour over Mt. Someplace in Alaska, whitewater rafted down the Snake River. And after my mom died from her cancer, I was diagnosed with cancer, too. A cancer diagnosis is also a reminder that a long life is not guaranteed and that we are to be thankful for every day we are given and should celebrate the life we have been Gifted with. Smell the roses, and all that.

That said, I would not call womanizing (or manizing) a good way to celebrate the days or years I have left in my book of life. But I know of people who have chosen this path post-diagnosis and treatment - to "prove" to themselves that they are still alive.

You and others may be correct about the poster, but I don't know enough to make that judgement from this one comment of his.

Carry on. I'll watch and learn.

The senator must be from a state with a donkey governor. Otherwise, why would it be important. If he’s a homo by all means let us know. I’m for that.
