The Evangelicals will not vote for Mitt, even in the general election.

My parents are evangelicals and they’d vote for him over Huckabee. I will be sitting out the election if Huckabee is the nominee or maybe vote 3rd party. He’ll be the Jimmy Carter of the Republican Party and probably set it back 20 years.

I didn't realize you are CINC Evangelical, and that all the rest of us must take orders from you.

Odd that you claim Evangelicals would rather have a raging atheist as President, working hard to assault any God-fearing person, than vote for someone who agrees with us on many POLITICAL issues, and at leasts acknowledges that there is a God.

There sure are a lot of people speaking for Evangelicals, especially people that are pushing Huckabee. Not only misguided, misinformed or flat uniformed people on the right but also liberals itching to run against this guy in the general election.

If you don't think the MSM wants Huckabee to win the GOP nomination, ask yourself one question: Why is it the mainstream media found a quote by a Republican candidate (Huckabee) that included the words homosexual, HIV, isolation, sin, abherrant behavior, etc. and haven't reported or commented on it endlessly since its' discovery?

Look, they're pushing him like they pushed McCain in 2000. Why? Cuz he's vulnerable and easily exploited. It's the same reason why the MSM isn't endlessly hammering us with Rudy Guliani/Bernard Keric corruption stories. These candidates are vulnerable, the media knows it and it wants to saddle us with an easy target.

It's that simple.
