MITT ROMNEY is determined to prove he's pro-life. How about proving he's pro-truth?
Every time Romney tries to explain his evolution from supporter to opponent of abortion rights, his honesty comes into question. That's because his explanations over the years don't add up.
In June 2005, former Globe columnist Eileen McNamara challenged Romney's assertion of his mother's pro-choice position. Two longtime Romney family friends and political supporters -- former governor William Milliken and former Republican National Committee co-chairwoman Elly Peterson -- told McNamara they could not recall Lenore Romney speaking out publicly for abortion. If she had, it would have represented a dramatic change of heart and break with the Mormon Church. Peterson, who worked on Lenore Romney's campaign, said, "If it happened, I'd remember it. It didn't and I don't." Milliken, who served as George Romney's lieutenant governor, also expressed skepticism.

See my post #78. The BG is a national newspaper. They led the charge for Kerry, including attacking the SBVFT and writing a puff piece bio of him. The idea that Romney should be able to win MA in the general election is nonsense and unreasonable. Let’s see how Mitt does in the Rep primary there.
Reagan won Massachusetts. Myth Romney already lied once and tricked Massachusetts.

You must have a comprehension problem. I said, “Since 1960, MA has gone Rep twice, 1980 by 0.15% and in 1984 by 2.79%.”
Nice try but specious. Bigotry will be the way you who know not the importance of Witnessing of the Real Jsus Christ will call the opposition to the heresies of Mormonism. You of the secular mind call it bigotry, we who claim He indwells us are opposing heresies sent to mislead souls. Romney’s liberalism is just as strong a turnoff but you appear unable to focus upon those aspects of him. Mormonism does not bring The Risen God to the spirit of a seeker, it instead teaches ‘do all that you can do to be worthy of salvation’ in some where/when to come. Jesus saves NOW.
It’s no surprise that the person whose only contribution to FR has been negative hit-pieces on other candidates, is the first to resort to name-calling against another freeper.
Hello n00bie, are you being paid for your spin cycle at FR?
And yet you refuse to abide by the rule. How cowardly.
What are some of you are going to do if Romney wins the primary? Think now. I bet you are the same kind of closed minded that put the RATS in power in the Senate and House. Congratulations, hope you enjoy Hitlery.
Secular? I already said that I’m Roman Catholic.
Oops. I forgot. That’s the “other” cult in your eyes.
What the hell are you talking about?
If I credit you for pointing out to me “an unwritten rule”, I now have to ping you for that as well?
Sorry, but you’re not that important.
Coward.
They actually spend ten times more time in anti-Romney threads, than they do in pro-Thompson/Hunter/etc threads.
I’m just proud that I can campaign for a man based upon his strengths rather than his opponents’ weaknesses.
*plonk*...into the bozo bin with you.
Thank you for the biggest chuckle of the day.
All theyve posted are smear articles against Romney.
The truth is not a "smear".
I know it’s become fashionable for supporters to say the libs are scared to death of their candidate, but do you really believe it? Candidates who were once one thing; example, pro-choice and pro-gay marriage, and who now say they aren’t anymore, like they can just take an eraser to the board and make their previous stances go away, are more scary to the ones they are asking to vote for them than to the liberals, IMHO.
Welcome to the fracas. You’re almost 50 posts too late.
Check out post #27.
(Did I need to ping all those other guys again because I’m responding to a post where you mentioned their names? The ping police are out in force, and I wouldn’t want to break another unwritten rule you know).
Ah yes, the coward.
I really wonder if Lenore Romney had a son-in-law that had a sister that died from a botched abortion. Sounds a bit like an urban legend to me.
Sorta like....I had a friend, who had a sister, that said her mother died while giving birth to her only child, the baby died too.
