Interesting that Tancredo's Campaign Manager endorses Thompson --- VERY interesting division there.

Well, well. That is news. It appears there is a split in the Tancredo camp as well. It is still strange that Tancredo endorsed Romney over Hunter.

That was bazaar. Seems Tancredo forgot that Romney was a big supporter of Bush's amnesty bill which was probably the most hated piece of legislation from Tancredo's perspective.

It is strange; indeed, it was reported that Hunter believed he had a gentleman’s agreement with Tancredo for each to endorse the last-of-the-two-standing so to speak. If true, I am even more dissappointed with the tanc.

Fred has (pre-election season, even) been very strong on the border — his articles in the National Review and talks on Paul Harvey’s show I think really scuttled the amnesty bill -— so he would have been a logical choice if not Hunter.

Tancredo’s campaign manager bolting to Fred is telling that Tanc’s decision was unpopular among his supporters.

..those who assume that Tancredo's former supporters would naturally jump in the tank for Romney are very wrong, I believe

This action on TT's part was so off-the-wall it defies logic--unless he really is part of the establishment after all.

IMHO, Tancredo's support will largely go to DH and FDT...

Whatever deal Tancredo made with Romney only covered Tancredo -- everyone else seems quite free to do the right thing, which looks to be going with either Thompson or Hunter.

Tancredo can suggest anyone he wants.

Voters will do what they want to do.

I don’t see tancredo supporters going to romney.

If you are a die hard proud 1% tancredo supporter it is unlikely they would support becoming romney’s female dog. However, that does not mean romney was not their second choice.

It was unpopular among an awful LOT of Republicans that weren’t really supporting him. Romney is a loser-in-waiting.

Really, was Fred awake at the time, or did he just kind of give a half awake wave when he hears?

Hey! We got Salier!

Very good news. As I said yesterday, There is no way Tancredo’s endorsement of Romney is going to deliver the illegal immigration issue votes to him.

Was a shock to hear Tancredo hawk for Mitt.
No surprise his folks going for FRED.

Thompson/Hunter always sounded great. Talk about scaring the crap out of the raghead nazis, both FRED and Duncan talkin softly and carrying big sticks!

Fred needs a MAJOR endorsement, not just these Congressmen unknown outside their own districts. I wonder what the NRA is waiting for?
