Influential columnist George Will says his candidacy represents a "repudiation" of conservative Republican principles. "Huckabee's campaign actually is what Rudy Giuliani's candidacy is misdescribed as being - a comprehensive apostasy against core Republican beliefs," Will writes in his latest column. Giuliami departs from GOP positions only on abortion and the recognition of same-sex couples, Will observes. Huckabee, on the other hand, "broadly repudiates core Republican principles such as free trade, low taxes, the essential legitimacy of America's corporate entities and the market system allocating wealth and opportunity," according to Will. Will points out that the New Hampshire chapter of the National Education Association, a teachers union that is an important part of the Democratic Party's base, last week endorsed Huckabee in the Republican primary. The union "likes, as public employees generally do, his record of tax increases, and it applauds his opposition to school choice," Will writes, adding that Huckabee "represents wholesale repudiation of what came after the 1970s -- Reaganism."

Will neglected to mention that Huckabee's record on the illegal alien issue will probably be endorsed by La Raza!

Only those? Will says that as if those issues are unimportant.
Huck is a liberal but the transvestite Julie Annie isn't? Please.

Their records on the 2nd Amendment are also very different and Guiliani’s is anything but conservative.

“Influential columnist George Will says his candidacy represents a “repudiation” of conservative Republican principles”
And what exactly would Madame Rudy and Mitt be?????
The same if not worse.
To: T.L.Sink
George Will says....Giuliami departs from GOP positions only on abortion and the recognition of same-sex couples,
George Will is another New York Republican who's blind to the anti-life, anti-family, anti-gun, anti-border, anti-decency, etc., etc., Rudy Giuliani.
Will has been a wasteland so long that when I think of him I think of George Stephanopolous.

I was impressed with Val Kilmers portrayal.Chilling. I don't know how accurate it was, but if a man could shoot the way Doc could, he probably was that cocky.

I don’t like Huckabee but George Will is a pompous ass. Obviously Will doesn’t want to attend Huckabilly White House state dinners featuring chitlins and black eyed peas.

Well, it looks like George Will was another in-the-closet Rudy lover. His type will sink to any depth to revive Rudy's doomed campaign.

The evidence mounts. Huckabee IS a Bible-Packin' Leftist.
