When you look at some of the pictures of Paul supporters, you see young and old alike, but you also see the peace signs, the word love reversed in the word revolution. What one clearly sees is a bunch of disenfranchised liberals who assume theyve found a welcoming new home.
Theyve clearly identified with the anti-war message of Dr. Paul. Obviously, these people feel betrayed by the Democrats with whom they voted for in 2006 after being promised an end to the Iraq War. Democrats clearly have been unable to make good on their many promises. While thats not news to real Republicans, the anti-war left has been left dismayed, betrayed, and rudderless.
I say they assume theyve found a new home because these are the same people whove over the last few years have loudly and proudly called conservatives every name in the book. Theyve called us racists, homophobes, bigots, hate mongers, sexists, and more. Theyve called me an uncle tom, wannabe white, and thats from white liberals. Look at what they did to Condoleezza Rice, and were damn proud of it.

Battered liberals looking for a new port.
I look at every Ron Paul rabid supporter as a net loss of one vote for the Democrats or a no show for the Republicans anyway.
Bob, the links do work for some reason.
if they actually listen to Ron Paul, they will be shocked that they are backing him.
He is really a small gov. guy. I’m not sure why he is still in the GOP, more libertarian, but he is the polar opposite of a socialist.
I’m sure that there are some anarchist types supporting him, too.

Do the blind doofus Democrats see that he does not support the holy grail of the leftists?
Not surprising. A loser attracts losers.
Yes, I’m not getting through either.
Maybe I’ve been hacked.
I’M BEING SILENCED!
I’M BEING SILENCED!
DON’T TASE ME, BRO...!
I tried through Yahoo search, and I still can’t get through.
Your site is probably being attacked by the Soros funded left wing hate groups, and other hate groups and the Paulites.
Here’s what I wrote: Guess I struck a nerve....
Okay, Lets Talk Conspiracy
By Bob Parks, Intel Radio Network
Ive been writing columns for a few years now, so Ive had the opportunity to see patterns when they look me square in the face and, based on my recent encounters with Ron Paul supporters, patterns have begun to emerge.
Dr. Paul has the attention of the anti-war crowd, thus hes attracted them into his camp, as they wont trust a Democrat, at least for the foreseeable future.
However, now theyve found a man of principle who just happens to be a Republican.
Just because they now find certain conservative principles acceptable, doesnt make any of them the real deal, and like elephants, Republicans never forget.
Pauls supporters claim to embrace his message of smaller government. However, these are the same people who demanded federally funded student loans and free health care for illegal aliens. These are the same people who always advocate some new program for the poor and disenfranchised. And now, just because theyve found religion, were to just open the door, forget about the years of slanderous shout downs, and say, Welcome home?
When certain candidates or a party realizes they are hemorrhaging support, the first thing they ask is How do we get them back? Ive heard no Democrat presidential candidate attempt to lure the Paulies back home. Maybe just maybe, thats because they dont want them back.
After all, would any of us open the door to people who occupy our offices, infiltrate our meetings, protest us in front of your workplaces, throw paint on our war dead memorials, and shout us during presentations in which we were invited? And now they expect us to say, Welcome to the Republican Party just because they now demand we listen to them and their candidate?
Youre damn right; there are sour grapes and deep suspicions here. I dont trust these people for a minute.
In the many emails Ive received from the Paulies, Ive been talked down to like a child, had my intelligence questioned, cursed at, and all because I committed the mortal sin of not mentioning their candidate by name in a column where I was taking Republican presidential candidates to my own personal woodshed.
Their emails are all about their feelings. Its all about me, me, me, and damn anyone who wont hear THEM out.
Someone has to ask what the real motive is here.
Should Paul get the nomination and bring his supporters into our party, what kind of changes will they demand to bring from within? Will they demand political correctness be instituted? Will they attempt to stifle speech they dont authorize? Will they shout us down? In fact, all the traits most of these people seem to have on display are those the Democrat Party seems to have no problem jettisoning.
And theyre jettisoning them right into the Republican Party.
Thats my conspiracy theory. I dont think Im that far off.
Bob, The site is down for some reason. Must bookmark this for later. Thanks
I found lots of images that allude to this statement.
This - by far - is my favorite:
Bob this reminds of all the so called republicans in 2000 2004 primaries backing McAinal.
A real rarity in this life, a conservative gay gave me a heads up on how the gays were registering Republican to vote in the primaries to defeat GW and donating a lot of money to him. It was a well planned and coordinated action to fake support for McAinal to cause GW to lose in the primaries.
Of course not. Then again, when have leftists ever been rational?
Ron Paul is pro-RKBA. Pro-property Rights. Anti-tax and anti-wealth re-distribution. He's anti-Roe V Wade/Pro-life. Pro-free market capitalism. Anti-entitlement programs. Anti-Nanny State and pro-individual responsibility.
If he supported the war, rebuked the Troofers and the Move-on crowd, and was a little more selective about who he takes cash from (the recent flap over Stormfront comes to mind), he'd be an excellent candidate.
As it is, he's given his detractors so much ammo to use against him that all the good points about him are completely over shadowed.
I work in Austin Texas and see the same people who had Howard Dean stickers manically plastered everywhere, now plastering Ron Paul 08’ eye pollution everywhere.
Or you could be wrong.
I think you are mislead because of what you DON'T see: Establishment Republicans
If you are trying to discredit Establishment Republicans, don't compare them to Ron Paul 08' supporters. It makes the Establishment Republicans look totally sane and rational.
