When you are finally caught taking money from a Chinese financier like Norman Hsu who funneled max campaign contributions to you through poor Chinese delivery food immigrants, just give the money back and express your outrage in a statement.Actually you just tell the press that you gave the money back, and then the matter is dropped. No one ever sees the cancelled checks for any of these 'returned donations', as far as I can remember.
