of course there should be leeway in all proceedings, my response was in response to the your rant.....i have relatives that have lost everything due to a lying woman and a court system that favors, and even encourages the lying.... my brother finally fired his attorney and did his court stuff himself, and only then did he start to win his cases ( his count is he has beaten 15 lawyers by himself ) but the system is geared toward giving all to the woman ( my brother calls it the "Evil man" syndrome ) when he goes to the friend of the court for child support hearings, there are only womens magazines in the waiting room!!!! the system is rigged, and it is the feminazi's that are doing it...he wins because he is not an attorney, and can say and do things in court that an attorney cannot, even by pointing out the bias of the judge and rulings to the judge...

While it is interesting that you have relatives who are 100% innocent, 100% injured parties, pure as the driven snow, faultless; taken in by sinful, demon women; who lost everything and now have not even two nickels to rub together, the answer is not to punish the person who ends the abuse by filing for divorce. This isn't the Middle East & we don't punish people for ending bad marriages. Even when they are just women.
