Lulu is called crazy because she’s a self-plucker/mutilator (talk about NEEDY). Diva, OTOH, often snubs me to sit outside and play with the other birds. Those two are polar opposites.
However, if I anything needs antiquing or distressing, I let them sit on it.
I love Parrotlets! All the attitude of a big bird in a little package. My conure is like that.
My little green parrotlet is indeed a macaw in a tiny package - all attitude and no gratitude. She flies like a hummingbird.
The gray ‘Brie’ and the macaw ‘Nigel’ are opposites. Brie is quick-witted with a wonderful sense of humor and a keen observer of her environment, often commenting on anything going on inside the room or outside the window. Nigel the macaw, OTOH, only comments on things relative to himself (just like a man, huh ?)
One day I came into their room and put my hands on my hips. Nigel said ‘Uh Oh, Mom’s here’ and Brie said to him, ‘You are a bad rude brat bird, Nigel, go perch’.
LOL!
Do you have ANY idea how strange that sounded on a thread about alimony?
