The new fee, which was approved this year by the Texas Legislature, is set to take effect on Jan. 1. It's expected to raise about $44 million to be dispersed for sexual assault prevention programs and health care for the uninsured.

What a load of horse crap! I'll keep my own personal opinions of strip clubs to myself. But the Texas legislature isn't fooling anybody with their reasoning behind the surcharge. Give me a friggin break...since when did strip clubs ever reduce sexual assault? ...and taking from Texas citizens to give it back to the "uninsured" has a name...and it's called TYRANNY.
