...DEVELOPING...

NATIONAL ENQUIRER WORLD EXCLUSIVE: JOHN EDWARDS LOVE CHILD SCANDAL!

The woman linked to Presidential candidate John Edwards in a cheating scandal is more than six months pregnant and telling a close confidante that Edwards is the father of her unborn child, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER's political bombshell comes just weeks after Edwards emphatically denied having an affair with Rielle Hunter, who formerly worked on his campaign.

But The ENQUIRER has now confirmed not only that Rielle is pregnant, but she is also living in Chapel Hill, N.C. in a gated community, just a few streets away from Andrew Young, who has been a key official in Edwards' campaign.

Young has been in charge of looking after Hunter, according to sources, and she has been careful to stay out of sight during Edwards' campaign. A former Director of Operations for Edwards' campaign, Young's last official position with the campaign was North Carolina Finance Director.

He left that job about a month ago — nearly the same time Rielle relocated from the New Jersey area to Chapel Hill.

In a bizarre twist, Young, a 41-year-old married man with young children, now claims HE is the father of Reille's baby.

But others are skeptical about his claim and talk of a political cover up is heating up.

Reille, when contacted in person by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER, denied that she was Reille Hunter. Later, she hired a lawyer and issued a statement, saying that Young is the father.

But a source close to the 43-year-old divorcee says Rielle has told a far different story privately.

"Rielle told me she had a secret affair with Edwards. When she found out that she was pregnant she said he was the father."

Rielle loves Edwards and will do anything to protect him, the source said.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has obtained exclusive photos of a visibly pregnant Rielle and learned from close sources that she has been in phone contact with Edwards. That information has not been denied by anyone.

"Rielle told me while Andrew Young is a friend, she's not romantically involved with him," says the source close to Rielle.

MORE DETAILS WILL BE POSTED HERE LATER AND ARE IN THE NEXT EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER!

The law firm is Williams & Connelly. I just looked up Kendall's bio to refresh my memory.

"National Enquirer (where he supervised prepublication copy review for over a decade and a half),"

I wonder if he's still vetting for the NE?

“Sidney Blumenthal has recently joined the Hillary campaign. Slimeball Sid works fast.”

Indeed.

All politics aside, this is a terrible story. Prayers for Elizabeth Edwards - to find out something like this, and to have it so public at a time when she is so vulnerable, is truly sad. May she be comforted by the Love of God...

men may fail us, but God never does.

Maybe this is why Edwards was on every news channel this Sunday, besides Fox, sitting in front of a Christmas Tree acting like Mr. NiceGuy.

Come to think of it, he actually did seem a little squeamish.

I have a hard time believing that someone would run for President of the United States knowing that something like this is out there.

If true, this would hurt a serious candidate.
Edwards doesn’t really have a chance of winning the Dem nod so this hurts Hitlery more than anyone.
She needs him to beat Barack Hussein Obama in Iowa as she seeks to regain momentum. If Edwards is out this early I think BO will run away with it.

That's The Globe. I don't remember seeing anything about their marriage in The Enquirer.

Doug,

I remember your prediction awhile back. You were 100% right on. Cankles' thigh prints are all over this story.

I suspect Edwards planted this to improve his standing.

I think he'd get more votes if it was reported his lover was gay.

I think news of Bat Boy et al will be hard to come by from now on, at least in the supermarket checkout line. I heard that Weekly World News is going to cease printing its hardcopy edition and is going to a strictly on-line format.

I had also heard that Weekly World News was really supposed to be a parody of the other tabloids, but that most of their readers never really got the joke.

I don’t see that. Edwards was long believed to have had the edge in Iowa because of his organization and time/money spent there. I expect Obama will pick up lots of his support should the story be true and Edwards forced out.

“Well the Mods didn’t like Drudge and The Enquirer as sources, but when Debka and Pravda confirmed it, they bowed to the inevitable.”

If WND and Newsmax report then we will know it’s true. Not until then though.

National Enquirer is where Hillary launders all her ill-gotten information so that it can’t be tied directly to her. It’s a shot across the bow to all of those who would cross she who shan’t be named.

If its true and who knows, then this could be the final nail in HRC’s candidacy. Dims don’t care about things like illegit kids. If Edwards pulls out, pun intended, he might very well throw his support to Barack the magic one...Edwards might be a trial lawyer but he isn’t a moron and will know where this attack came from.
