Sometimes we forget that before Howard Dean’s infamous “YEARRRGH!” moment, there were a bunch of signs that he was hitting the skids beforehand. First there were a couple of brusque debate moments – I remember Peggy Noonan comparing him to a teapot that looked ready to boil over. But the other big warning sign came when a guy at an Iowa town hall meeting asked for less negative campaigning and a Biblical teaching of “love thy neighbor”, and Dean gruffly snapped to a “George Bush is not my neighbor.” When the questioner interrupted Dean, he shouted, “You sit down! You had your say, and now I'm going to have my say."
It wasn’t “Iowa friendly.”
It wasn’t a total meltdown, but Hillary Clinton’s interview with NBC’s David Gregory this morning might be another one of those red-flag moments. The guys at NewsBusters have a transcript and video highlights.
I understand Hillary's urge to emphasize the Des Moines Register endorsement, but she returns to it robotically, and just refuses to acknowledge Gregory’s question about recent lines of attack on Obama.
I guess the reaction to this exchange will come down to whether you think it's legitimate to ask Hillary about her husband saying that electing Obama is a “crapshoot.” Gregory tries to get some specifics, on what makes Obama so risky, and she just keeps ignoring it, and saying “You get change through hard work.” There’s quite a bit of crosstalk, and after the fourth or fifth invoking of the endorsement, if it were in person, one wonders if she would whack Gregory with a rolled up Des Moines Register newspaper, and say, “Read it! Read it!”
I suspect that mext year, if Hillary’s president, David Gregory is going to be the first taxpayer to get daily audits.

Yep, Hillary says she was in the White House for 8 years - and that's "experience"? Well, the up-stairs cleaning lady and the downstairs janitor were also in the Clinton White House for those same 8 years, maybe they're qualified to be President..

Did you notice that she talked about it being “her” Presidency just as it was “his” Presidency? That must mean she doesn’t have experience after all.

I look at that mouth of hers... and I couldn’t help but think of the story of Little Dutch Boy and the Hole in the Dyke... and how bad, tainted things flowed out of both holes.
Am taking him a high res copy of that recent Drudge photo ans asking him to evaluate what has been done and what could still be done.
Her problem now is, (among 10,000 other things, such as husband, policies, sexual preferences, etc.) that she doesn’t have any time to recuperate after a repair job. And if she had one, EVERYONE would know.
PPS. Didn’t her hair look VERY dykey this AM in the TV spot. .... and they complained about Linda Tripps nose.....
The bigger question is, what did either of them accomplish in the 8 years they were in the WH??

They say fifty percent of the country doesn’t like Hillary and say they would never vote for her. I believe it is much higher than that. Rush had something to say this morning about an aging woman...hence eight years....WOW. If she looks as bad as the Drudge picture now...what happens in eight years?? Hillary RACHET IS JUST WAY MORE than America can stand and the botox treatments just might not hold out. I wish it was just about looks...but this old political hack Hillary is totally evil. Go to You Tube..dial in The Clinton Chronicles, and watch history of the Grifters from Ar. The stuff about Mena, Ar. will knock your socks off. It is all documented.
Ummmmmm, Hillary decorated the Christmas tree - and messed up some crazy ideas about health care - and he ran the country, signed welfare reform, balanced the budget ( with arm twisting from Newt) and ran after skirts... He was President, she was a wife. She’s no more qualified to run the country than a pilots wife is to land a plane. You gotta be more than a passenger...

Did you catch the stupid, pasted-on grin she kept on her face much of the time? It was really weird as was the cackle she used again. She was clearly told by her handlers to smile, smile, smile to show how “likeable” she is. You really have to see the video if you haven’t. If this is the best she can manage when she is under pressure, she just can’t last. I didn’t realize she was really this bad till now.
