I think everyone held Haggard in high esteem and was shocked when the story came out.

I don't know any inside information about that church, so I don't know if there were indications that should have been picked up or if the leadership under Haggard was sound. It's a huge church for a city that size, so it must have something going for it.

That’s the problem of exalting a pastor instead of Christ. It never works out and people get hurt.
