Since the notion started by the boomer-bashing original poster was that 'boomers' had zip to do with the fall of the USSR during the Reagan years it is, I think, perfectly fitting that it be pointed out that from 1981-1988 the vast bulk of the all volunteer Army in Europe was 'boomer'. You want to see this as a personal attack on your hubby's service. That's on you.
