“Heart Hotels” and “Believe in Me” were my Fogelberg favorites. Very saddened to hear of his passing.

I would encourage everyone not familiar with his work to go out and listen to “Netherlands”, “Souvenirs”, “Captured Angel”, and “The Innocent Age”. We have lost a beautiful soul today.

I think alot of us had (real or fantasized) “Same Old Lang Syne” encounters. That song certainly brought a tear to my eye on more than one occasion.
RIP and thanks for the memories.

Not one of his most well known songs, but “Illinois” always tugged at my heart, while reminding me of where I’m from.
Very sad day indeed. Rest in peace.

Thanks for that tidbit. One of my favorite songs this time of year.

(I'm pulling for Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter-...but I'd vote for Rudy against Hillary)
