"Same Old Lang Syne" was about a true encounter he had back home in Peoria on christmas eve...its always played this time of year..Leader if the band was about his dad who was a band teacher... CLICK Same Old Lang Syne

I grew up in Champaign-Urbana, IL, where Dan used to play with the popular folk-pop band “the Ship”. It was a real shock when he left the Ship to go solo. I am stunned once again, that he died so young. He will be missed by many. RIP.

Please don't give it much thought ... the self-appointed posting police (SAPPs) think that everybody, like them, lives on FR 24/7.

Actually this is the first I've heard this story and I appreciate you posting the blurb.
