There was a case in Florida a couple of years ago where the court found that — Santeria practitioners, I think — were free to make animal sacrifices. IIRC, the thinking was “Priests, farmers, butchers, what’s the difference? The critter ends up dead.” I have to say, I agree.

What they do to lambs (And grown sheep, calves, and other livestock) is even more inhumane.

Don't these kind of "sacrifices" to a God reek of primitive man?
I've never understood why we should slaughter God's creation to show our allegiance/loyalty/faith to him?
This has always ranked up there with hiding from the eclipsed moon to me.
