Never, even in our most glorious periods, did the Nation of Israel have a democracy

And that seems to be the crux of the issue. In a true egalatarian democracy, the left and the Arabs would vote Israel out of existance.

This whole discussion is absurd, given the shape and size of Israel, chosen deliberately to fail by the British and other allied powers who stood by while the "holders of the oil spigot" tried to destroy her.

She survived, no thanks to them.
Now the definition of "democracy" has been twisted and perverted to insist the even enemies must be included, or it's not a democracy. How idiotic can some people be?

Even in the golden glow of the original Greek democracy, the notion that enemies be granted equal status would have been humorous. Never happened; didn't happen; couldn't happen, among non-suicidal normal human beings who valued their lives and their freedom.

What's changed? Other than a precipitous and fatal drop in world IQ?

The author doesn’t mention that Arab birthrates are dropping like a stone in many countries. Probably among Palestinians, too, although accurate numbers are hard to come by because it appears the Palestinian Authority has cooked the books.

How can Israel unilaterally grant Jordanian citizenship to the Arabs living in the West Bank? Wouldn't the Jordanian government have to consent?

If that is practical, it suggests a way for the US to solve the illegal alien problem--grant them all Canadian citizenship, and maybe most of them will move to Canada.

ah but you see the left does see a real demographic problem. The left don’t have kids and the religious and other right wing Jews they despise, are.

Israelis need to have more children; Arab emigration should be actively encouraged and Arab areas inside Israel can be shed to the Palestinian areas while at the same annexing Jewish areas in the West Bank. The result of all these intiatives would boost Israel's Jewish majority and reduce to an insignificant problem the number of Arabs living inside Israel at the present time. One cannot solve demography by giving up claims to Israel; it can only be solved by dealing with the issue in a proactive and intelligent manner. In any case the Jews have always been a minority in their own neighborhood and they have survived despite the lopsided numerical Arab advantage.

Judaism is the soul of our life and the purpose of our existence...

Not for the secular Jews, if one means "religious Judaism".

Correct?
