Congress Defies Bush on CIA Tape Probe [Hey MSM! What about the Foster Tapes?!]

House Intelligence Committee chairman Silvestre Reyes told ABC News today that he will ignore the Bush administration's request to drop its investigation of why CIA interrogation tapes were destroyed.

"This is an administration that frankly does not have a good track record of policing itself," Reyes said. "We intend to go forward and issue subpoenas next week because we are a whole equal branch of government."

I don't really care much about these CIA interrogation tapes. I just find it amusing that the same MSM that is pushing this story seemed so uninterested in the White House surveillance tapes from July 20, 1993. Those tapes might have shown Vince Foster leaving the White House, or maybe even walking around the White House that day. They might have shown his car entering or leaving the White House grounds. Was it the car they towed away from Fort Marcy Park? Gee. No one in the MSM was the least bit interested in the Foster tapes. I wonder why.
