Karl Rove is a brilliant guy, he and DeLay are far from gone.

Very True, Rove worked behind scenes in Virginia & Ohio special elections while Ronny Earle is quitting his job unable to achieving his dream - "sending Delay to jail."

Mr. Romney has shown that he is the person who can pull all parts of the GOP together.

How?

"I'm very clear I think, to the people across the Commonwealth -
my "R" didn't stand so much for Republican as it does for reform."
(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"I'm not running as the Republican view
or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race."
(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"I wasn't a Ronald Reagan conservative."
(Mitt Romney In Interview with Marc Ambinder,
"Romney Explains Himself," National Journal, 2/9/07)

Excellent catch!!

IMHO that's why Fred is not higher in the polling.

The DBM is a powerful enemy and ever so slick we have to keep pointing it out.

“i think there is a clear prerequisite for running for the Presidency: you have to want to be President!!!!”

How about you have to want to do what’s right for the country? That’s a lot different from wanting to be president, think about it.

Not a difficult concept but easy to miss, I’m sure I’ve missed it myself at times.

“only small amounts of the “true” crime are even reported there any more.”

when i was attacked the police didnt report it as a crime because the culprits weren’t able to steal anything from me.

Actually, nobody who craved the Presidency has ever won it. President Bush was never worried about losing it, but felt that he had a duty to his Country. Craving it is one of the things that has hurt Dems over the years.

Fred Thompson is doing it his way which to some is very appealing and to others not. Same with the rest of the candidates. All cept 1 are very electable.

Pray for W and Our Troops

I’ve met both Mitt and his wife. The best looking person in that family is HER, hands down.

Watch the video of Fred Thompson’s “I’m Not Doing Hand Shows” moment at the Iowa debate last week.

Fred Thompson was the alpha. Huckabee, Romney and Giuliani saw Fred take the lead and instantly fell in line behind him. Mitt Romney almost lost his balance, he was so eager to follow Fred Thompson.

Mitt should have said to Russert. “Tim you are Catholic and yet your Church does not allow women to be Priests.” That would put a stop to it.

Yes, Hillary wants it.

She wants it bad!

Fred just wants to do it, not be it.

I’ve never witnessed bigger a flip flopper than Romney.

He makes John Kerry look like a piker.

“How about you have to want to do what’s right for the country?”

good job splitting hairs.....Thompson wants to do the right thing for the country more than he wants to be President.
Then why doesnt he do the right thing for the country back in Congress? Or as a private individual doing charity work?
