I’d feel the same if Mitt lost the debate. He did not. Scumbag Russert is the one who looks bad, imho. Dems won’t agree of course, but maybe more of the right, middle and undecideds will see it. It’s pretty damn blatant.
Howdy!
John Edwards with his homey Holiday Tree backdrop and warm table lamp. Schieffer opens the Edward’s platform with softball prompts, then allows Edwards to expound at will. This is a long Edwards campaign commercial—for free.
Regardless of how one feels about Romney, it’s clear that Russert’s purpose is to force Romney to defend his positions, rather than to give him the opportunity to state how he would defeat a RAT nominee or how he would govern. So far every question has been about domestic social policy...nothing on defense, terror, Russia, Iran, the economy, etc. You have to wonder if he would question any RAT in the same way.
There must be something in the water in Arkansas, he has a wobbly core at best.
Don't forget that Tim Russert got some heat for the questions he asked Hillary at that debate (did that Clinton supporter ever resign or get fired for saying that, "Tim Russert should be shot" on a conference call the next day?), so Tim has to act tough with all the candidates in order to look impartial.
I was kinda hoping for a "ROVE/BOLTON '08" ticket myself..[snicker-snicker]
Elizabeth scares you? I bet she scares John, too.
Funny how scary all the democrat women are: Miz Obama, Miz Hillary and Miz Elizabeth? They could all take me, and probably my husband too!
LOL. Brit says that the Huckabee campaign is a man skiing ahead of an avalanch.
Edwards has been making the rounds today, is the media trying to push him for some reason?
I see Joe Biden, but where’s John McCain?
A winning ticket for sure!!
Elizabeth Edwards was also “scared” of her across the road neighbor, whom she did not know.
I was thinking about that yesterday. And it occurred to me what an absolutely fabulous First Lady Laura Bush has been and how different she is from all of these women.
I read somewhere that the Hillary campaign wants to keep Edwards viable as long as possible because they fear that his supporters would go to Obama if he got out.
Like minds,Mitt scored 1,000!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Mrs. Edwards is acting foolish.
Good one! Brit is smart and witty. We passed on FNS today. No interest in the baseball steroid story.
