Let’s hear it for all those who fought for Texas. I’m biased too, since great grandpappy Sion Bostick helped bring Santa Anna to Houston after San Jacinto. He told the story about the others in the scouting troup wanting to put the “peasant” up on his horse to which he replied in colorful language that he’d rather shot him on the spot and be done with it.
Awright! We both come from good stock! My ancestor was Andrew Kent. All those guys were brave as they come. Too bad our current leaders will sell us all out for a few votes.
