Siege Warfare at National Assembly
The members of the ruling party and the opposition party in S. Korea go at each other at the hall of National Assembly.
The ruling party intends to pass a legislation which will set up special prosecutor to investigate the stock fraud allegation of Lee Myung-bak, the front-runner for Presidential Election on Dec. 19. The opposition party, having not enough votes to kill it, occupied the podium where the Chairman of National Assembly presides. Nobody to preside over the debate and vote, no passing of legislation.
The ruling party member broke through the door locked up by the opposition members, and make initial charge at the opposition members at the podium.
After a brief break which included a strategy session, the ruling party members regrouped, and charged at their enemy in earnest. This is the real-time siege warfare.

What’s the story? Lee Myung Bak still going to win it next week? Any chance of an upset by the Patriot Lee? (I think he is third).

Amazing. Can you imagine someone taking a swing at Chucky (D-NY) in the Senate? I’d pony up pay-per-view money for that event.

It looks that way. However, winning margin could be narrower than media touts. I am not sure that he is really the third. Personally, I feel that he could win more than 20% of votes.
Still many people with misgivings about Lee Myung-bak. I think Park Geun-hye made a major political blunder by siding with Lee Myung-bak. It will haunt her for quite a while. Already, a more than half of her die-hard supporters left her.

Really a lot of restraint, no punches mostly shoving.
I’d give a lot to see someone jump on Harry Reid like that.
