Because they kill Jews in terrorist attacks.
Obviously. I mean, it is not like we are paying this to Tanzania or Paraguay.

We have idiots running the federal government.
That includes the majority of elected officials and the shadow government in the bureaucracies - especially the State Dept.
There is little discernible difference between democrat and republican administrations on many of the most important issues.
Aiding and arming PALEOSTINIAN terrorists is one of them.

Our government knows what’s best for us.
How do we expect the conflicts in the middle east to continue if all the Pallies have is rocks to throw?? They need weapons. This 500 million should help secure a purchase of weapons from China and Russia.
It’s only tax money. When the next president comes in, he/she will just raise our taxes to fund more of these wonderful programs.
Now lets get back to work. Don’t forget Iran has been approved for a 900 Million dollar loan through the world bank. WE US TAXPAYERS are responsible for these dollars as well.

Why are we giving money to terrorists?
The answer must be the Carter doctrine, and the doofuses in the state department.

They are being lavishly rewarded for being a giant pain in the butt. You can bet that they’ll become even more of a pain after cashing this check so that the US will give them even more of my money. I don’t know why more countries aren’t trying to get rich on US dollars with this strategy.

Re: Israel policy
Bush and Rice are funding terrorism !!
Could it be that Americans are seeing that a certain brand of Republicans really aren't the answer? You're accusing Mr. Bush and Sec. Rice of funding terrorism. Had you said this even three years ago, you would have been cast into the fire along with Michael Moore fanatics, i.e., anathema--by good old Republicans and conservatives!

I am not being facetious here, but does anyone know how the USA explains pubically the need for such financial aid? Why don’t the people work, have a market economy and a functioning government (ok, bureaucracy)etc?

I dont know why more countries arent trying to get rich on US dollars with this strategy. The Palestinians don't have a country however the terroristic zealots who do just go to the U.N. in the name of peace and collect their dough from the hard working promoters of humanity.

... the United States provides very little to the Palestinians, whose economy and government are dependent on foreign donations.WTF? A non-profit country? If it can't stand on it's own, is it really a country?
