NEW YORK Federal authorities have subpoenaed financial records and employees in an apparent probe of the Rev. Al Sharpton's 2004 presidential bid, nonprofit civil rights group, and for-profit businesses, a newspaper reported Thursday.
As many as 10 Sharpton associates were subpoenaed Wednesday to testify before a federal grand jury in Brooklyn Dec. 26, his lawyer told the Daily News.
They were told to provide investigators with financial records from the campaign and roughly six Sharpton-related businesses, as well as personal financial documents of Sharpton and his wife, the newspaper said.

Jesse Jackson, Moveon.org, Media Matters, La Raza, Code Pink and International ANSWER. Luckily Bush isn't Clinton and doesn't sic the IRS on people just because he doesn't like them. But they'll get investigated if there's evidence.

Finally!!!!!!!!! Rev Al was living large during his presidential run, staying at posh hotels, eating lavish meals, and cruising around in limos, All this was on the taxpayers dime, and I am sure some of the cash that wasn’t wasted on his lavish lifestyle probably went into his and his cronies pockets. Rev Al probably thought his celebrity, icon of the black masses image would save him. He will play the race card on all the talk shows, but the feds are going to get him. Whether a jury ‘of his peers’ will convict him is another matter. Here in Milwaukee we have an alderman under both federal and state indictment who is running for re-election from jail (he has been denied bail), and who will probably win because his ‘constituents’ love him, even if he is a thug.

Woohoo. I bet he is unavailable for comment, though.
I was just telling someone last night that he was most likely on his way to Nat Turner’s (Mr. Tina) funeral.

Well well well.
I knew it was just a matter of time.

He will play it. This is standard operating procedure for the race baiters. Mayor Street won an election in Philly when they found his office bugged by the FBI. His inner circle was getting arrested and he claimed racism and changed the polls and the election. When they investigate Weldon or Libby it’s just because they are corrupt old white guys.
