Forget the shopping and how hectic it is at this time of the year. Remember why we rejoice and the reason for the season. Leave politics alone for about five minutes and enjoy this. Every year at Christmas Mass, this brings me to tears. This is glorious, even with crappy computer speakers.

Luciano made me cry. He sang so beautifully.
That is what I can’t stand is the register change from head to chest. It is so difficult to avoid. It is largely the reason I stopped singing.

I am a big Josh fan. He has a beautiful voice, and a new album out.
My favorite. “To Where You Are”.
Thank you thank you thank you for this link! He’s amazing singing that song. Gives me chills.
Wrong and wronger.
Fantastic! Brought tears to my eyes.
Merry Christmas, and thanks for sharing this.
Josh was trained by David Foster. As a sophomore at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, he wore glasses and sort of looked like a nerdy engineering student (but without adhesive tape holding his glasses together). He starred in the school plays, got contact lenses, and by the time he was a senior, we all had a feeling that he would be doing something very special.

I’ll be home for Christmas
This one is for the troops. May not be good at work. Grown men aren’t supposed to cry.

What a great testimony. I can tell you his voice touches my soul.
I am so proud to say Josh is my homeboy, too...:)
Here is a thread featuring several Christmas music selections, including MP3s of Groban’s “O Holy Night” and Luciano Pavarotti “Ave Maria.”

How nice... have saved to Favorites.
How is the nephew doing?
Charlotte Church was good until she lost her mind.
‘sright,
I’m a bit of snob too...
Now when I hear “what a GREAT singer” someone is, it means that they sing really LOUD, make a lot of warbling yells and jump around a lot.
But their voice sounds just like their speaking voice....so dems not singin’.
He’s doing great. He got back safely from the cruise a few months ago. I certainly thought history was going to be made with Iran while he was there.
Hmmmm, I was asking NavySealDad, but it’s good to know about your nephew too!!
:-)
Merry Christmas!
Self-ping to listen to later!
