I’ve heard Rush’s view on this, and the only other Republican I’ve seen get this kind of treatment from the liberal media was McCain, when he could be counted to be cozy with the Democrats.

"I’m hoping his campaign staff has read Sun Tszu (?sp)...."

Sun-Tzu: "The Art of War". He was a warrior. A book written in China 500 years before the Bible was put together. Get it and read it. Nothing has changed since then. I have it. What you meant to say is:

"If you are strong, act weak. If you are weak, act strong."

I am already FREDIFIED! More so today. However, you have to admit that if FRED did not participate in these dog and pony shows, he would be even more vilified.

FRED THOMPSON (true consistent Conservative Federalist) - NATIONAL SECURITY EXPERT (I’ll do whatever it takes to stop the bastards, include water-boarding) - 2ND AMENDMENT ADVOCATE (arm all legal citizens and criminals will become more hesitant) - SECURE AND SEAL THE BORDERS (don’t give them sanctuary anywhere, don’t hire them, don’t rent to them, don’t give them credit, don’t give them rights they don’t deserve, report all crimes committed by them, they will go home or we will deport them) - LAW AND ORDER (enforcement first and foremost with the laws currently on the books) - SOCIAL SECURITY REFORM (reform a program that can’t sustain itself and will bankrupt this nation) - DEFEAT THE DEMOCRAT (any fool they put up) – TAX SIMPLIFICATION (choice for the tax payer) - WON’T PUT UP WITH CRAP FROM THE MSM (including stupid questions by moderators) - PING!

Like I have said. Fred has read that...

Also the parts about the enemy of my enemy and choosing the battlefield...

Look at his campaign...

Until the amnesty bill. That killed McCain forever. You do see the pattern here anyway. Guiliani was pumped. Huckabee was pumped. Ron Paul is being pumped by who?? That leaves Fred and Mitt. They have been gentlemen on stage a couple of times. If we can see and sense our surroundings like this, so can many other millions of people.

I hate these so-called debates. It’s ignorant to say: “you’ve got 30 seconds to answer.” or “you’ve got a minute to answer.”

That’s a ridiculous thing to say even at a press conference.

Helen Thomas hasn’t even tried that yet: “President Bush we know you hate children, murder foreigners, but why do you eat puppy dogs?.....And...You’ve got 30 seconds to answer.”

So you read it? I have it right here. I like this quote:

"One [whose troops] half advance and half retreat is enticing you."

I was traveling today, and caught Chris Matthews on the TV in the airport. As best I could tell, the only person who showed up to the debate was Huckabee.

When Chris Matthews loves you, it is time to worry!

Yup.

They are not going to get away with pushing Huckabee. They no longer have the power to. Just watch. They don't want Thompson on the stage next to Mrs. Clinton to jump-start her screeching world-wide, or Romney to make her look stupid world-wide.

The MSM is going to be shocked if Fred comes in 1# in Iowa and NH.
Actually, I would take the MSM polls and hype with a grain of salt.

Agreed....I think when the dust settles, Fred wins the nomination.

Most of these GOP polls fail to mention that few people have settled on a candidate yet.

When the front runners cannot hit 30-35%...that leaves plenty of room for other candidates

Fred’s standing up to that liberal weenie moderator was priceless...and demonstrated great leadership

My question still has not been answered: WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM TO KEEP HUCK IN THE RACE.

Huck has openly said he doesn’t have funds - so .. who’s supplying them ..?? When that question is answered - we should a great deal more about Huck .. and maybe more than we wanted to.
