WRAL in North Carolina ran a documentary called "Crossing the Line" that covers illegal alien drunk drivers and the impacts on society. Although drunk drivers come in all colors and from all cultures, an unusually high number of them in North Carolina are Hispanic immigrants. A study from the University of North Carolina Highway Safety Research Center shows that Hispanics involved in car crashes were two-and-a-half times more likely to be drunk than white drivers and three times more likely to be drunk than black drivers.Hispanics also account for 18 percent of drunken-driving arrests, while making up less than 7 percent of the state's population.

Also, many have just purchased their first vehicle and are learning to drive for the first time.
Odd how I’ve heard no uproar over this from MADD.
The four illegals were all killed too, although forensics made it clear they were so toasted they probably never felt a thing.
This is only the ones repored. If they cause an accident and the ir car still works or even if it doesn’t work but their legs do, they flee the scene.

Most cannot read or speak English. It looks like three strikes against our good amigos: inexperienced drivers, no English, and a strong taste for the sauce. They sure can run fast when an accident occurs however.
Is this study racist?
ping
Present rule of thumb is: if a favored minority (anyone not caucasian) is found to have a higher incidence in criminal activity, disease, promiscuity, drug usage, etc., then the study was racist and shall NOT be publicized, and those who created the study will be exposed as Klansmen.
A drunk illegal came close to killing one of my sons, and the investigating state policeman let him go, after finding a case of whiskey and an open bottle in his truck. Needless to say, he didn’t show up at court.
On another occasion, I have seen them present documentation at DMV's that were not "complete" (can you say forgeries?) to try to get drivers licenses.
Having been in and out of NC for many years, I have seen this problem grow, and worsen. I have had family members "shaken down" at intersections after being hit by hispanics who claimed they were not at fault when they rear-ended my relative. Turns out they were unlicensed and undocumented illegals, and they fled the scene before the cops got there when they saw their shakedown wasn't getting them anywhere.
I used to have a heart for the plights of many of these people, but first-hand experiences have changed and hardened my point of view on these illegals.
How many illegals have insurance?
True, hit and run is the most often reported crime in California. Happen to my nephew last week, guy sideswiped him and just ran away.
Either that, or we get, “It’s their culture! We must be understanding! They only need to be educated,” etc.
Heres my standard post. We can do something about Illegal immigration.
RICO Citizen Recourse
Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.
Heres what Ive been pushing: its time to file Racketeering, Influencing, and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuits.
RICO lawyers could turn it around in a few years and MAKE MONEY at the same time. Im surprised they havent done it already.
In the absence of enforcement, we can get the word out in the meantime that there is money to be made in filing RICO lawsuits against employers who hire illegal aliens.
Employers would have no trouble shutting down the border if they could get sued by someone under the RICO statutes for hiring these people in the first place. The next time an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or somesuch thing, Im going to point out that the victims family might be able to seek compensation from the employer under these statutes in the hopes that it would catch on. If this did catch on, would see such a swift backlash against illegal immigration that no employer would go near these people and theyll all simply want to go back home.
IRS Reporting
REWARD FOR REPORTING EMPLOYERS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS
CALL THE IRS HOTLINE 1-800-829-0433 YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO A REWARD
Call the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) hotline 1-800-829-0433 to report all
suspected employers of illegal aliens-you are not required to identify
yourself and may be entitled to a reward. The Application for Reward ( Form 211 http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f211.pdf)
can be downloaded from http://www.irs. gov or call 1-800-829-3676. The IRS does
not take kindly to employers that seek to evade taxes by paying cash for day
labor-this is a common practice at construction sites. Report the employer`s
license plate number and any other information you may have. Employers usually
cant run and take the hit in their wallets. Follow up with the IRS and ask
what action is being taken; if they refuse to cooperate, notify the press and
your elected officials. Do your part-spread the word-help make this
nationwide campaign a success!!!

Hunters criticism of Thompson over this issue is well aimed. We need someone in the white house who isnt a johnny-come-lately on this issue.

I few years ago I was driving in dense but fast traffic on the Rock Creek Parkway in Washington, DC, when a small pickup truck edged into my lane alongside me. I honk, look over, and there’s Jose with a one-handed grip on both the steering wheel and a can of Bud.
But who am I to judge?
It looks like I forgot an important illegal alien advantage: no insurance. Our amigos do not need to bear the burden of insurance. Insurance is only for gringos.
ping for later watch.
Just had a fatal accident in my area (western Wisconsin) where a hispanic male was accused of a hit and run fatality. He crashed his car into a man who was trying to help pull another car out of a ditch. The suspect and a passenger while trying to flee the scene in snowy, cold weather crashed their vehicle. They fled into a farm field. The police simply deduced where the most likely spot for them to emerge was and waited. Eventually the freezing suspects emerged and were taken into custody. The police revealed his name, but neglected to say if he was illegal.
This area has received a large number of hispanics who work in chicken production plants and other food processing factories. Some are legal and some are illegal. But there seems to have been a higher than average number of car accidents concerning hispanic males in this part of the country. Driving safety courses seem to be in order.
